PRIMED partners with CMHA to support mental health in healthcare

EDMONTON, AB, [March 26, 2926] — PRIMED Medical Products Inc. (PRIMED) today announced a new partnership with the Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA) to support mental health awareness, education and resources for healthcare workers across Canada.

The partnership reflects PRIMED’s commitment to protecting people beyond products, recognizing that mental health is a critical part of safety and wellbeing in healthcare environments.

Healthcare workers continue to face sustained pressure, including burnout fatigue, compassion load and cumulative trauma exposure. Through this partnership, PRIMED will work with CMHA, a trusted national leader in mental health, to help extend access to credible, evidence-based education and resources tailored to acute care settings.

As part of the partnership, CMHA will host a free educational webinar on April 7, World Health Day, focused on mental health challenges in acute care environments. The session will explore topics including burnout, fatigue, compassion fatigue and trauma exposure, and is designed to provide validation, shared language and perspective for healthcare workers and healthcare stakeholders.

The webinar will be hosted by CMHA and will be available live, with on-demand access following the event.

The PRIMED x CMHA partnership is a multi-year initiative focused on meaningful, sustained impact. In addition to the webinar, the partnership will support the development and dissemination of mental health resources and ongoing education to help normalize conversations and reduce stigma in healthcare settings.
